Hi, I'm Lisa Brooks, the heart and soul behind Brooks Boutique. Though I'm 56 years young, my spirit remains vibrant and full of life. My journey began in Anaheim, California, but Texas became my home during my teenage years. As the youngest of six, I shared a special bond with my mom, who was not only my best friend but also my partner in all things mischievous until her unexpected passing a few years ago.

My passion for fashion was ignited by my mom, who lovingly crafted many of my fancier dresses. I still remember practicing my walk with a book balanced on my head and standing still for hours as she meticulously pinned my dresses for sewing. Those early days sowed the seeds of a lifelong love for fashion and style.

Family has always been my greatest joy. I've raised a beautiful daughter and a handsome son, and now, as a Grammy, I cherish the best days of my life spent with my grandchildren. My professional journey has mostly revolved around accounting, but recently, I decided it was time to live my dream.

With my husband often away on hunting trips and my kids grown, I found myself with a lot of free time. It was then that Brooks Boutique was born out of a desire to fill my days with something meaningful and fulfilling.

At Brooks Boutique, I revel in meeting new people and helping them find that perfect outfit or accessory that boosts their confidence and joy. Our mission is to empower women to look and feel their best, offering top-quality clothing and accessories at affordable prices. Whether it's "that dress" or "that outfit" that brings a smile to your face and a spring to your step, we aim to provide just that.

Our boutique is nestled in a local salon, and you can also find us at the monthly "Tradedays" in our city. We believe fashion should be effortless, comfortable, and accessible to women of all ages, sizes, and styles.
